Jr NTR and Team RRR Invited as Members of The Academy, Earn Well-Deserved Honor

Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the dynamic duo of the highly anticipated film ‘RRR,’ have received a prestigious invitation from The Academy to join its esteemed membership. The Academy, known for hosting the renowned Academy Awards (Oscars), has extended this honor to not only Jr NTR and Ram Charan but also four other members from the ‘RRR’ team.

On June 29, The Academy unveiled its latest list of invitees, which includes directors, actors, and technicians from around the world. Among the 398 new members, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, music maestro MM Keeravaani, casting director KK Senthil Kumar, music director Chandrabose, and art director Sabu Cyril have been recognized for their exceptional contributions. However, it is worth mentioning that the celebrated director SS Rajamouli’s name was surprisingly absent from the list.

Expressing his delight, Jr NTR shared his joy on being invited to be a member of The Academy. He conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to his fellow ‘RRR’ team members, stating, “It is such a proud moment for all of us in the #RRR family that Ram Charan, MM Keeravaani, Senthil Kumar, ChandraBose, Sabu Cyril, and I have been invited as members to The Academy Awards 2024. SS Rajamouli, the visionary director behind ‘RRR,’ took to Instagram to express his pride for the team. The year 2023 has undoubtedly been remarkable for the ‘RRR’ team. Their song ‘Naatu Naatu’ made history by winning the Best Original Song category at the Oscars 2023. It claimed the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in January and later secured two more awards at the 28th edition of the Critics Choice Awards for Best Song and Best Foreign Language Film.
